POSITION: Electro-Optical Sensing / Imaging Systems Engineer LOCATION: Southern California COMPANY INFORMATION: This position will work with a company that develops military electro-optical systems – including optical sensor systems, EO/IR and spectral imaging systems. RECRUITER INFORMATION: The Electro-Optics Group is a division of the recruiting firm, The Photonics Group, which recruit engineers nationwide for companies that design and manufacture optical, electro-optic, laser, and imaging systems. Recruiter contact information is: nlasky@mri-rtp.com POSITION: Electro-Optical Systems Engineer to design and develop advanced electro-optical imaging and sensor systems. This position will work in the development and analysis of electro-optical sensing and imaging systems. This position will also assist the company in business development and product development efforts by providing technical direction in this area of engineering expertise. The major emphasis of this position is the development of classification, estimation and detection algorithms with applications towards electro-optical sensing and imaging systems. An additional function of this position is providing technical direction for the company’s product development and business development efforts. Specific activities include: Mathematical modeling and computer simulations, Algorithm development, coding and testing, Software Programming, Working with customers to define requirements for our deliverables and presenting study results, ... Specific areas of research and analysis include: Pattern Recognition, Time Series Analysis, Hyper- spectral Data Exploitation, Multi-Spectral Projection, Infrared System and Focal Plane Ananlysis, Parameter Extraction and Prediction, Detection and Estimation, System Modeling, Imbedded Modeling, Signal Processing of Remote Sensing Data, ...
