LOCATION: southern California COMPANY INFORMATION: This position will work with a company that develops military electro-optical systems – including optical sensor systems, electro-optical imaging systems, and laser systems. POSITION #1: ELECTRO-OPTICS MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING MANAGER GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop optics and optical products for military programs. SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Work on projects from inception to completion, including (a) assisting the development of technology and product concepts, (b) assisting the development of proposals and new business, (c) assisting the development of designs and prototype products, (d) leading efforts in the transition of designs to manufacturing, (e) leading efforts in the development of manufacturing processes, and (f) leading product manufacturing activities. * Play a primary role to develop products to meet customer specifications. * Play a primary role to manufacture products which satisfy customer need.
