Job Description:
RESPOND WITH RESUME TO: dab@mri-rtp.com Sr. Software Engineer for an industry leader in high quality, cost effective digital infrared imaging cameras to contribute to the development of next generation infrared imaging and radiometry electro-optical systems. These systems employ integrated analog and digital CMOS electronics together with MEMS technology Infrared sensors. The ideal candidate will have strong software experience within a manufacturing environment to develop and support a set of production stations to manufacture high end thermal imaging cameras. Responsibilities: • Produce software for manufacturing automation. • Conduct preliminary analysis of design objectives to define optimum design of automated thermal imaging manufacturing station software using object-oriented design techniques. • Implement software in accordance with design criteria and performance objectives. • Use object-oriented programming techniques to code application using C# and MS .NET framework. • Thoroughly document, debug and validate software design. • Support production of software installation releases. • Support hardware/software integration efforts. • Establish and maintain technical project files. • Implement project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective product introduction. • Follow department standards for software development, including project planning, documentation, design reviews, software testing, project status reporting, and software configuration management. • Interface with engineering team members and other departments as necessary to deliver a superior product. • Prepare oral and/or written presentations for technical design reviews.

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or EE with strong emphasis on software experience. • 5+ years of experience in architecture design and coding of PC software application software. • Experience and knowledge in the use of Visual Studio, .NET, C#, SQL databases, object relational mapping, and report generation. • Experience and knowledge in the use of Visual Studio .NETand C# technology. • Experience and knowledge in designing software to interface with, and control externally connected hardware, e.g. servo motors, temperature controllers, etc. • Highly motivated and productive. • Strong technical writing and code documentation skills.
